Sheep - Timing is right for that first Summer drench. Speak to the staff on your rotational requirements so you don’t end up with worm resistance in your flock.
Use an effective drench from the Mectin group of products , such as Genesis Drench with Selenium from the Ancare range being a Broad spectrum drench containing 1g/L Ivermectin or Cydectin ( plain or with selenium ) 1g/mL Moxidectin from Fort Dodge. BUT have you drenched using Mectins for years then give them a spell this summer with Rametin Combo from Bayer Animal Health. A triple combination drench containing Naphthalophos, Levamisole Hydrochloride & Fenbendazole & no mectin.
Not sure if you need to drench, then pickup the simple to use Faecal egg count test kits sold in store, collect a sample send it away & within a few days you will know results of counts in your sheep and we can help plan that effective drench strategy with you.
